Fun Friday: Delurking!

Okay... so I have been at this for a few weeks now... and I am super thankful for my 17 followers and my other 3 readers?!? I am curious to know who you lurkers are!
So... today I would love it if you would delurk yourself! Leave a comment and let me know who you are... how you found my blog... your interests... any projects/recipes you have been working on... things you would like to see on the blog! Who knows... you might see your requests as a feature!

As an added bonus... for those of you who leave a comment and delurk yourself (followers are included) I will do a surprise mini-giveaway! Nothing big but a little incentive to reveal yourselves!

Happy Delurking!

*Giveaway will be closed Sunday, February 14th at midnight. I will do the drawing Monday morning using random.org*

Hi Michelle,
My name is Rebecca and I go to Olive Knolls. I found out about your blog and Karsie through some of the girls at MOPS. I've been praying for her and you/Kevin since Karsie was born and have been watching with wonder and excitement as she has gotten bigger and stronger.

I love to craft! I do digital scrapbooking primarily, but I enjoy creating things for organization too.

Ooh, I like Delurking Day! I found your blog through Karsie's blog. I like making crafts with paper... especially if it's a shorter project than making a whole scrapbook. And I'm learning how to sew. And I love getting recipes that are easy to make, and relatively quick and inexpensive. And I keep thinking that I should try to use my crock pot more...

I have really enjoyed reading all of your tips and ideas, especially since I just found out that I am pregnant 2 weeks ago. :)

Hope your whole family is doing great :)

Michelle, I'm Jen. I found Karsie's blog after Lori mentioned it on her blog. A looooong time ago I worked with her brother at Sea World and he recommended her blog once after Garret had an nasty incident involving lots and lots of poo. I changed my follower status on both your blogs to public today.

Hi! I'm Julie, an old friend of Kevin's from youth group. I've been following Karsie's blog ever since my mom told me about it awhile back. I'm liking what you've got going on here! We seem to be into a lot of the same things! (I make my own laundry detergent too ;) )

Hi! I'm a 68 year old grandma and cancer survivor, related to Krista Nymeyer Gradias. 5 of my nephews and nieces graduated from PLNU. I first heard about Karsie from Krista, and have prayed for her and kept track of her progress. God is so merciful and good to His children. I'm not too crafty, but have done a lot of sewing in the past, and currently knit a lot of discloths, giving away an average of 74 per year over the past 19 years. It is easy to take these along wherever I go. Most people make them with Sugar and Cream yarn, but I prefer using 3 strands of size 10 cotton crochet thread, which gives many choices of color combinations. I also have made many baby afghans, both knit and crochet, and am also fond of photography.
I enjoy reading your blog and tips, and as a cancer survivor, I'm interested in non toxic products, organic foods, etc.
Check out www.iherb.com. Good prices and a variety of healthy items.

Hi Michelle,

My name is Sarah and I have been following Karsie's blog since shortly after she was born. I have been praying for all of you. I found out about you through Lisa Chaffee because we're both on another internet group together. I live in Calgary, Alberta.

I am amazed and impressed how you not only find time to be a great mom and post to 2 blogs, but also do all this crafty stuff and find out cool information to tell us. You rock! I just wish I was as organized as you!

Hi Michelle, My name is Susan and I'm a lurker! I've been following Karsie's blog since last July, when Sarah Botts shared her medical difficulties. Your family has been on my prayer list since then and your faith encourages mine even more. I look forward to each weekday to see what new crafts, cost trimming, and recipes you share. Thank you for allowing me to lurk - I guess I am not a lurker any longer!

I found your blog through Karies blog of course. I think you know who I am, good old PLNU days!! Enjoy following your blog. Thanks for the mini-giveaway to whoever wins it, delurker or knownlurker :)

Yay for delurking days! It gives those of us who are too shy to leave a comment normally the ability to delurk with confidence! My name is Sam and I have been following Karsie's blog since right after she was born. I've been following this blog since you started it, but I was too lazy to actually hit the "follow" button. :( Anyway, I really enjoy crafting. Recently I've taken to sewing, and my current project is a blanket and pillow set for my 3 year old cousin. Thanks for the Delurk Day!

Hey Michelle, My name is Nicole and we have been following Karsie's blog since we overheard you guys mention it in the NICU. We were your neighbors! Our son Travis was a few beds away from you. I like your crafts but I am not crafty so I am sticking to the recipes :) I am so glad Karsie is doing so well! Great idea to ask for de-lurking!

Hi Michelle,
I follow both of your blogs. I've followed Karsie's blog since it started. I heard about her from my niece, Lori. I was happy to finally meet Karsie at Matthew's birthday party. She's adorable! I haven't had much time for crafts in the last few years. I used to do cross stitch years ago, and have always sewn, but again, not much lately. Too busy with life! I've also done a lot of cake decorating. I'm always open to new ideas, recipes, etc. I've left comments before on Karsie's blog, but I didn't even know that there was a way to officially "follow". I just found it! Have fun blogging!

Hi Michelle,

I am another lurker from Wingland=) I read Karsie's blog daily to stay updated and now I check in on your crafty blog. There is no way you will get bored during your time off from teaching! I love that you are sharing your ideas. There are definitely some things that you have done that I want to try. How about some simple crafts for kids or I would love a sewing tutorial. I like your green tips too. Just some ideas! We miss you!!

so, I know the giveaway is over, but I figured you still might want to know about your lurkers. My name is Kathleen and I went to PLNU with Kelli which is how I came across Karsie's blog. I have followed Karsie's blog nearly everyday, crying and laughing through all the posts. Her story and life are truly amazing.

I love crafting but rarely have the time to actually craft, so I kinda read just to get my crafting fix. You have great ideas. If you have any ideas on general organization tips I would be very interested in hearing them. I imagine you have to be very organized with everything you do!
